It may look boring to eat vegetarian meal diet, but it has absolute edge over non vegetarian diet. As vegetarian diet has to be selective to get all nutrients, you must have a proper <strong>diet meal plan</strong>.</p>
<p>Some basic facts about vegetarian meal diet plan:</p>
<p>· Eat a variety of plant proteins to fulfill the adequate proteins in the diet like legumes, grains, seeds, nuts and vegetables.</p>
<p>· Eat a lot of vegetables and fruits. Boiling vegetables is a better option than frying as it retains nutrients and colors.</p>
<p>· Avoid milk and milk products in diet as much as you can. Milk products have saturated fats that are harmful for heart. Eggs should also be limited as they have fats.</p>
<p>· Soybean has proteins equivalent to animal proteins so dishes based on soybeans should be used in diet.</p>
<p>· Many essential fatty acids like linoleic acid should be supplemented in diet.</p>
<p>· Fruits are sources of vitamins and minerals, these vitamins and minerals are essential for normal metabolic functions of the body.</p>

<p>These plans have a <strong>fat low diet</strong>, in which the amount of fats is reduced to minimal levels. Fats are not reduced to nil because our body needs essential fatty acids for various metabolic functions. The basic aim of this low fat diet is to get rid off cholesterol and other harmful fats like LDL (low density lipid). While, LDL is harmful for our body HDL is useful for the body so we cannot exclude fat from diet.</p>
